What Problem We are Solving

Problem
Vehicle ownership sucks! Ownership decisions and tasks are hard to keep up with for busy owners. This impact their total cost of ownership over time. For manufacturers, this impacts brand loyalty and retention. For dealers, this impacts the life and trade-in value.

About Us

About Us
Locus Mobility is creating “Autonomous Ownership,” which allows vehicles to self-manage the ownership decisions and tasks with an owner’s one-click approval, not effort. We are a white-label platform and system giving manufacturers, dealers, and owners a unified platform to support all aspects of the vehicle ownership experience post-purchase using an ownership algorithm. Locus automates decisions, payments, relationships, and services delivered to owners where they park creating a "SMART" vehicle ownership experience.

Business Model

Business Model
Our revenue model will consist of 3 revenue drivers:

  1. Direct Service: $55 Avg Spend per Customer - Vehicle Owners (PRESENT)
    1. Bi-Weekly & Monthly Recurring Users (80% Target)
    2. Single Service Users (20% Target)
  2. Monthly Asset Management Fee: $7 per vehicle - Automotive Manufacturers (FUTURE)
    1. 15M New Vehicles Sold Annually (Dealerships) = $105M MRR / $1.2B ARR
    2. 34% SOM of 15M Vehicles = $400M
  3. Platform Transactions: 3% per transaction - Service Providers/Owners (FUTURE)
    1. 3% Transaction Fee of $867B Vehicle-Related Transactions Annually = $26B ARR
    2. 34% SOM of $26B = $8.8B

Competitive Advantage

Quote
Dealership and fleet management software focus on a dealer's internal experience and operation. At Locus, we focus on the external experience of the owners and how the OEMs and dealerships manage that experience. Locus extends the customer engagement experience post-purchase and serves as an operating system for vehicle ownership through our Ownership Algorithm. We are different from fleet and dealership management software and on-demand service technology in these three ways:

  1. Proactive Model: We monitor real-time vehicle data to anticipate, predict, and schedule services to submit for owner approval, creating a frictionless decision-making experience
  2. Customer Satisfaction: We reduce dealership visits addressing a major pain point in the ownership experience while managing the many payment relationships from a single method. We create a customer feedback loop and engagement experience that improves Net Promoter Scores and Customer Satisfaction Ratings.
  3. Revenue Diversification: We enable OEMs and/or dealerships to generate revenue through a service network/marketplace and referral fees from third-party service providers, employees, or contractors

Go-To Market Strategy

Business Strategy
B2B Acquisition: Active conversations are happening with Stellantis, Ford, Toyota, and Gm through the Supplier Diversity department with the company. Our Advisors and Mentors are making direct introductions to their contacts in relevant departments at the automotive manufacturers.

B2B2C Acquisition: We will continue to execute our direct service business model under the Locus Mobility brand acquiring vehicle owners at strategic real estate locations (apartments, corporate offices) that are converted to the Locus platform and waitlist.

B2C Waitlist: We are running a marketing campaign to create a waitlist of owners who desire a  simplified vehicle ownership experience. The waitlist will allow us to build momentum and a strategic plan based on submissions. Owners on the waitlist provide:
