Vehicle technology has advanced dramatically over the past few decades, but the tires have been left behind. Cerebrum fills this glaring gap with Intelligent Tire Solutions; hardware, software and algorithms delivering never-before-seen analytics well beyond basic TPMS.

What Problem We are Solving

Problem
When it comes to technology, the automotive tire industry is decades behind. Tires are one of the most critical vehicle components, represent one of the largest operating costs for fleets, and visibility of tires remains archaic. TPMS sensors offer only a fraction of the necessary tire analytics, specifically pressure. Obtaining data such as temperature, tread depth, load, slip angle, road conditions, etc. is essential for advancing the industry and driving cost savings, sustainability improvements, functionality with autonomous vehicles, and improved vehicle safety for consumers and fleets.

About Us

About Us
Cerebrum Sensor Technologies Inc. fills the industry need with the world’s most advanced Intelligent Tire Solutions, which include sensors, gateways, software and AI-based algorithms. We have achieved traction with major vehicle and tire OEs, fleets, the agricultural industry and more. The Company created the first commercially available, IoT-enabled solution capable of reporting real-time tire analytics including pressure, temperature, tread depth and load, among others. Cerebrum’s solutions are advanced relative to competitive alternatives, and address a massive global market estimated at $18+ billion per annum.

Business Model

Business Model
The Cerebrum sells Intelligent Tire Solutions as a complete solutions that can also be sold on a component level as part of an alternative solution.  Intelligent Tire Solutions include:

- Tire-mounted, wireless and re-usable sensors lasting 5-7 years (hardware);

- LTE-enabled, BLE telematics gateway for fleets or integration to existing systems (hardware and data plan);

- Cloud-based servers for data management (SaaS, big data);

- Mobile application and web-based software for real-time analysis (SaaS); and

- Proprietary algorithms for calculating tread depth, load, alignment and other advanced analytics (SaaS, licensing).

Cerebrum’s solutions are agnostic to all industries (passenger, fleet, AG, etc.).  Cerebrum currently sells solutions to the market via:

-          Tire OEM’s to integrate into factory tires;
-          Vehicle OE’s for vehicle tires and integration to the dashboard;
-          Telematics software and hardware providers;
-          Fleets;
-          Aftermarket through tire distributors, tire shops and consumers directly; and
-          Integration of AI-powered algorithms to competitive sensor manufacturers.

Competitive Advantage

Quote
Cerebrum’s solutions are agnostic to all industries (passenger, fleet, AG, etc.) and are scalable to any vehicle tire.  In short, our products address the TAM whereas other companies entering the space have a much narrower scope.  The closest competitor to us has raised money through multiple rounds; however our technology and traction are far more advanced.  We have developed proprietary algorithms (our special sauce) for monitoring tread depth, tire load, road conditions, etc. and are the first company to have demonstrated the accuracy and reliability with major customers.  Our technology is the essential to many industry-disrupting technologies that require tire health information including autonomous vehicles, V2X, etc.  We have strategic relationships throughout the industry, a decade of innovative experience, a first mover advantage, and multiple sources of revenue (hardware, SaaS, algorithms).

Competitive Analysis

Competitive Analysys
The primary competitors (also customers) for Intelligent Tire Solutions include:

- TPMS companies - Only measure pressure and air temperature, some are developing more advanced solutions.

- Tire OE's - Narrow focus of developing the technology for the sale of their own tires as opposed to addressing the total market potential. In addition, they are not experts in sensor manufacturing or algorithm development.

- Indirect tire sensors - Utilize measurement of wheel sensor data or vehicle accelerometer sensors, no direct tire sensor measurement.

- Other startups - Companies like Tyrata (only measures tread for buses) and Revvo (only predicts analytics, no real-time measurement).
