I have created a number of conceptual decision trees or rules-based engines that calculates the risk/return profile of an entrepreneurial pitch based on over 200 practical criteria. These trees can be used to generate algorithms that have multiple use cases.

Problem: Entrepreneurs often pitch ideas to investors without assessing the risk/return from the investor's perspective. This results in wasted time and frustration. My decision trees use broad categories such as IP viability, Product position, SWOT Analysis, Scalability, and Deal architecture to calculate Equity/Valuation, etc using simple Y/N answers to hierarchical criteria. I have attached a darkened version of my POC in this pitch. This is so I can protect my IP. If I hear back from a VC, I am happy to share the full readable POC.

About Us: To start out, I have created a POC for IP Viability, a subset of the work mentioned in the previous section. The decision tree assigns weights based on the traversal paths and helps the entrepreneur and investor evaluate the risk/return profile by evaluating binary responses. I believe the trees can be converted to algorithms that have more practical applications than the financial algorithms which are a little abstract for the average person. The algorithms can be used in gaming and educational apps as well as apps for VC mechanisms that allow better screening of the applicant so that he/she can go refine their pitch based on weight points that determine success or failure. While there might be existing algorithms that VCs use, I doubt they are as hierarchically Boolean and easily digestible as mine. I am wondering if I can license it. My conceptual decision trees can be converted into an algorithms that: -Doesn't require a PhD in Finance to interpret their meaning. -Summarize what could be 10-20 pages of a book into one simple diagram. Nobody wants to read books anymore. A diagram is consumable by a larger audience than a book. -Allow anyone preparing for an entrepreneurial pitch can calculate their odds in under 20 minutes. I realize something like this might already be in place but I don't think it would be as comprehensive as mine. -Allow entrepreneurs and investors to critically think about the pitch with simple Yes/No answers to the questions that are pre-compiled and visually available. -Prepare a candidate getting ready to pitch on Shark Tank without having to watch the entire series to gain the wealth of knowledge that is distributed across multiple episodes. I have done the work for them and I have the unique skill of taking raw data from sentences and organizing the value from them into hierarchical information. The POC is just one tree, please read on for the entire scope of my project.
