Problem: Zakto Hockey allows hockey players the ability to create customized hockey sticks to represent who their hobbies/passions/interest/family/etc. Customers are stuck with the same generic hockey stick designs.

About Us: Zakto Hockey was founded in 2022. We have already received condition clearance from the National Hockey League for our products to be used in NHL games and practices and have begun the process of negotiating a licensing agreement with the Canadian Hockey League. Zakto Hockey intends to have its sticks in the NHL this fall, however we are navigating through the licensing fees and the cost of providing NHL players with endorsements to use the products.

Highlights: We have received conditional clearance from the NHL to use our products in NHL games and practices and have a mutual understanding that we will be licensed in the Canadian Hockey League within the next month or two. I have had numerous discussions with retailers however they want to see the product in the hands of NHL players before taking on our products. I have also hired sales representatives in Finland, Sweden and the United States.

Business Model: We are looking to get into the NHL and then expand globally, quickly. We are expecting massive growth over the first 2-3 years and by the end of year 5 we hope to be in the same category as CCM and Bauer.
