Housing Shortage – There is a global housing shortage and shortage of affordable housing. US shortage alone has been estimated to be 5.2 million housing units. 
Archaic Building Methods - The construction industry is one of the oldest and largest in the world. Yet, we are using the same basic building techniques we have for centuries, resulting in the vast majority of projects delivered over budget and behind schedule. Contractors completed only a quarter of projects in the U.S. within 10% of initially promised deadlines. There are shortages of skilled employees in every construction trade. 
Environmental Impact - The construction sector is the largest global consumer of raw materials globally, responsible for approximately 11% of the world's total carbon emissions.

None of our competitors have capitalized on the true benefit of 3D Printing – it’s efficiency and mass production.
Competitors are: 
•3D printing panels and assembling conventionally; or
•Erecting a printer on site and printing exterior concrete walls vertically over of a traditional slab
Our design & process prints the floor, walls & roof in one layer – the complete self-supporting shell for a studio unit ready for the next stage of assembly in 12hrs from start to finish.
The production of traditional construction materials such as concrete contribute to about 8% of the world's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
Our printed material takes an abundant universal waste product, in plastic, and transforms it into a structurally responsible polymer that we can 3D print.
We see this as a stepping stone toward a more fundamental use of recycled plastic and 3D printing in the home building industry.
