Technology Because each individual ATOMZ light unit is designed to intelligently determine its own physical position at a rate approaching 1000x/sec. while simultaneously responding to a broadcast light shows delivered color commands, ATOMZ can be randomly distributed at the gate/door without any additional steps required by UCT, the event host, the sponsor, or most importantly, the attendee to complete the desired overall image, light show, etc. This core UCT technology, while being reproducible by a team of hardware and software engineers skilled in the appropriate fields, would take a potential competitor at least 1-2 years to develop to usable maturity, and an investment of $1-2 M in resources. A competitor would need to assemble a team of engineers with expertise in a number of diverse areas, such as RF antenna design, RF communication, mixed signal and RF electronics design, digital electronics design, embedded programming, network communication, and computer graphics. In addition, the CSWAP (cost, size, weight and power) requirements overlay an additional set of constraints making the optimal solution much more difficult to achieve. At their core ATOMZ are an advertising vehicle, conceived and built to create compelling new advertising real estate that is all at once flexible, affordable, and extremely scalable in its ability to meet the logistical limitations of any venue. Immersive and interactive by nature in how it involves the very people an advertiser is looking to resonate with, plus powerful enough to generate ad impressions that will far exceed that of any other current form of advertising via the above mentioned “conversational starting” nature and the expected social and viral benefits generated by those who personally experience an ATOMZ show. If one understands and accepts the growing desire of advertisers and companies to indelibly weave themselves directly into the fabric of sporting and EDM events, one can begin to understand that technology developed to not only enhance the spectacle of an event, but to also artfully blend in an advertisers message within the context of said event, is the next logical step. Relations with Sports and EDM key decision makers An essential strategy for rapidly gaining business within the target verticals is to employ or engage individuals who bring extensive personal and professional relationships to the UCT table. We believe that not only will it expedite the time it takes for us to commercialize , but in some instances it will be the only way to gain entrance into the market. In brief, time is of the essence and UCT understands that these types of connections will make all the difference between capturing majority market share or finishing a distant second. Relations with key ad agencies and Fortune 500 advertising clients These relations will prove vital to developing additional sponsor demand with and for events in situations where there may be underutilized or undervalued advertising real estate that’s created by ATOMZ. In instances where there aren’t any existing contractual advertising restrictions for a given event, UCT will serve as the de facto broker between the event and the ad agency. Exclusive Provider Agreements Another key strategy for preventing any future competitors from gaining market share. These EPA’s will ideally provide us with 4 or 5 year windows of business free of any meaningful competition within this newly defined advertising space. These EPA’s will also increase the overall valuation of UCT when/if acquisition exit talks/opportunities occur.
