What Problem We are Solving

Problem
We are solving the need for reliable, clean, top-of-the-line, affordable, truly on demand scooters without cluttering sidewalks. Fundamentally, we are addressing traffic and pollution resulting from rapid urbanization, and solving last-mile transportation - and beyond that, aiming to reduce car utilization for the 60% of total drives in the U.S. which are under 6 miles.

About Us

About Us
Leef is a cleantech mobility startup making freedom accessible through affordable scooters.

We are providing subscription scooter ownership with all-inclusive service and maintenance and anytime cancellation for only $29/mo.

Venture Highlights

Highlights
In just two and a half months, we launched Leef, completed initial user validation, received pre-orders, completed our requirements and sourcing, completed R&D with a leading scooter engineer, and partnered with a major scooter manufacturer. We are wrapping up tooling for sample units, which should be ready in two weeks.

We like to listen and tinker a lot, and while we're pathological entrepreneurs, we're fundamentally about people and process as well as tackling big meaningful challenges.

Go-To Market Strategy

Business Strategy
We are focusing on direct-to-consumer marketing, targeting cities that scooter share companies have been banned or limited from while cross-referencing dozens of data points including statute and municipal code, market awareness, positive opinion, topography and climate, shipping costs, average trip distance, and local serviceability.

We will also heavily leverage influencer marketing as well as affiliate marketing.

We are looking for partners - such as Haveli - to pilot pop-up container or brick and mortar shops, as well as considering having an ice cream truck to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sell scooters.

We are also building out our enterprise arm to work with co-working spaces, companies, small businesses, startups, hotels, apartment buildings, and more.
