What Problem We are Solving

Problem
In a nutshell: Sisu VR is attempting to address current pain points of workers not paying attention to workplace trainings (e.g., harassment-focused etc.) traditionally delivered using live lecture, PowerPoints, manuals, or videos. Companies are currently wasting millions every year on these trainings that professionals do not remember or find memorable. When a workforce is not trained properly, it can lead to employee misbehavior and an inability respond effectively to conflicts. 

Studies show misbehaviors can cost millions of dollars in the form of corporate lawsuits and turnover. With more engaging and memorable training, users will be better equipped to communicate with empathy as well as respond to a crisis (ranging from a verbal confrontation to an active shooting). This results in a safer and more empowered workplace, one that values respect and situational preparedness.  

Research has shown virtual reality (VR) training increases empathy and learning retention by up to 80% or is 4X more effective compared to classroom or traditional training. It also increases user engagement by up to 93% and is 230% more effective than conventional training.  

With better training and less misconduct incidents, an organization will experience decreased employee turnovers; reduced corporate legal fees from misconduct lawsuits; and increased general productivity of staff members. 

By learning more efficiently, employees will also be able to internalize training content more readily and practice greater empathy in the workplace. This ultimately leads to fewer incidents of misconduct in a professional setting, and an understanding of how to respond to high-stake situations (e.g., a verbal confrontation, an active shooting etc.).

Specific training product features: real harassment cases collected from professionals; ability to experience multiple perspectives (i.e., victim, observer, offender); voice-controlled communication (i.e., ability to speak aloud dialogue to actors in the simulations); empathy-based framework (i.e., algorithm capturing emotions vs reactions); immersive environments (i.e., first person POV in realistic office or school settings); federal and state compliance (i.e., content meets all federal and state laws); run-hide-fight framework (i.e., government regulated steps on how to respond to active shootings taught); learning management system (i.e., captures performance and data from users at the end of the training).
