About Us: Founded by a serial entrepreneur with a successful exit, Photon Vault's technology is in the pilot stage with a working pilot in Fresno, California. The company is dual headquartered in Califorania and Texas, the two best markets from a market structure and economic perspective energy storage startups. The company is seeking to round out its Seed round have been led by individual angels and the Houston Angel Network. Several strategic partners will serve the backbone of Series A round later this year or early Y2025.

Highlights: In the traditional carbon-based energy world, an often used acronym is FEED (Front End Engineering Design). This FEED study is conducted before FID (Final Investment Decision). Seed funding raised to date has allowed us to complete our FEED study with both internal engineering resources as well as outside respected engineering firms. We have built a working pilot. We completed a study with the lead outside firm who provides the economic analysis for most energy storage projects in the U.S. All of this is ready for Series A and FID from our strategic partners.

Business Model: pretty simple: buy low and sell high OR sell forward high and buy low; our solution allows to buy electricity daily when it is low off-peak, store it, and then sell it back to the grid on-peak for a much higher price. This business model is the core concept in energy storage and our model has been vetted by the most respected analytical firm in energy storage.
