Welcome to the Most Fundable Companies Competition!
This is the annual startup competition run by Pepperdine University. Founders of U.S. based companies that make the Most Fundable Companies List will be will be featured at a showcase event in Malibu, CA in October, receive national press, and are profiled in Entrepreneur Magazine.
You do not need to be affiliated with Pepperdine to participate. All companies that advance to the second round of the competition will receive a free detailed feedback report on how they can make their company more attractive to investors.
Don't worry if you have an early stage startup and some of the questions don't seem relevant. Pre-revenue startups are eligible. Just answer correctly.
The following questionnaire will enter your company into the opening round of the competition and only takes an average of 8-10 minutes to complete.
Eligibility
- Early-stage startups seeking private capital in the next 12-18 months
- Pre-revenue/pre-seed through Series A
- All industries
- United-States headquarters
Process
- Complete the Pre-Screen and Qualifier Survey to receive a Radar Graph from The Venture Alliance (TVA) - a unique graphical snapshot benchmarking your company to an ideal competitor in your industry at a similar stage of development.
- Semi-finalists (approximately 100 companies) will be invited to complete the more intensive Fundability Assessment survey.
- Top performers collaborate in the final stage to complete your company story.
- Top finalists selected for the Most Fundable Companies list will be featured at a showcase event in Malibu, CA in October, receive national press, and are profiled in Entrepreneur Magazine.

There is no cost to participate. In addition to our annual list and showcase event, our program exists to educate and enlighten founders on what constitutes a fundable company, as well as support relevant distinctive research in identifying characteristics of successful startups.
