Description

Bruin Angels regularly hosts pitching events where founders seeking funds or mentorship can pitch their startup to our members. This application is for entry into these pitching events.

Please note, Bruin Angels does not currently provide any funding directly, but we encourage our members to connect with and fund startups from the UCLA Ecosystem.

Eligibility

To pitch to Bruin Angels, a principal founder must have a connection to UCLA. This can be attending as a graduate or undergraduate student, or being part of a program such as the Venture Accelerator at UCLA Anderson or Magnify at CNSI.

Alternatively, a referral from an existing Bruin Angels member will also allow you to pitch to Bruin Angels.

Process

Your application will initially be reviewed by the Bruin Angels Executive Director. If needed, they will schedule an interview to go over questions they might have. Companies that they approve will have their pitch deck and notes from the interview forwarded to the full pitch committee. Companies approved by the pitch committee will then be scheduled for pitching sessions to the full membership pool.

What an Applicant can Obtain

Applicants who complete the review process will be scheduled to pitch live to Bruin Angels members. During their pitch they can request funding, mentorship or other support from Bruin Angels members.
