Eligibility
To be eligible to enter, startups must:
Africa based: Majority of operations and initial market must be in the continent of Africa. This excludes Startups founded by entrepreneurs from Africa with operations outside of Africa, or with operations in Africa but plan to initially target an intercontinental market.
Industrial tech: Must be developing a technology based business with use cases for critical infrastructure (Agriculture, Energy, ICT, Transportation, mining, water, manufacturing, logistics)
Prototype: Have a working prototype or a minimum viable product of your solution
Early stage: startup should be less than 3-years old and either be pre-revenue or working with initial POC clients
Scalable business model: Clear value proposition, initial GTM and operations must show consideration for ability for rapid growth, impact potential for target sector.
Minimum 2 Co-founders: All applying teams must have at least 2 team members.
Process
Please complete this form to register your startup for the competition. All eligible startups will be invited to pitch their idea to a panel of judges. The top startups will be awarded prizes and mentorship opportunities.
