Description

Eosera's CEO, Elyse Stoltz Dickerson, got her start by winning a pitch competition in the early days of starting her business. Now, the eosera® foundation wants to pay it forward by hosting, for the third year, the eosera® Pitch Competition to win seed money for their company. Prizes include a $15,000 first-place prize sponsored by Simmons Bank, a $10,000 second-place prize sponsored by Higginbotham & $5K third-place prize pitch competition for female founders, in addition to another $5K People's Choice Award with additional partners including iHeartIMPACT, Satori Capital, and TechFW. Those who are female founders, own the highest percentage in their business, and are located in the state of Texas are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

The applicant and applicant’s business must be physically located in the state of Texas. The applicant must be a female founder that owns the highest percent in the business or partnership. The applicant must have a maximum of 3 years in business. The business must be a for-profit entity. Non-profit entities are not eligible to apply. Each female applicant is allowed to submit only one application per applicant. If you were previously a prize winner, you cannot apply. If you applied last year and would like to reapply, you must fill out a new application.

9/7/24 – 10/17/24- Judging Period

10/18/24- Three Finalists Announced

11/12/24- Live Pitch Event at the Kimbell Art Museum

There will be 3 finalists that will give an 5-minute pitch with 3 minutes of Q&A each. An expert panel of 3 qualified judges will pick one first-place winner ($15K) and one second-place winner ($10K), and one third-place winner ($5K).
