Eosera's CEO, Elyse Stoltz Dickerson, got her start by winning a pitch competition in the early days of starting her business. Now, the
eosera® foundation wants to pay it forward by hosting, for the third year, the eosera® Pitch Competition to win seed money for their company. A $30,000 first-place prize will be awarded, in addition to another $5K People's Choice Award, and more. Sponsors include iHeartIMPACT, Simmons Bank, Higginbotham, Whitely Penn, and TechFW. Those who are female founders, own majority share of their company, and are located in the state of Texas are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility
2025 eosera® Foundation Pitch Competition Eligibility Rules
The applicant and applicant’s business must be physically located in the state of Texas. The applicant must be a female founder that owns majority share in the business or partnership. The applicant must have not had more than 3 years in business. The business must be a for-profit entity, in good legal standing (non-profit entities are not eligible to apply). Each applicant may only submit one application. If you were previously a prize winner, you cannot re-apply for this year. If you applied last year and have never been a top 3 finalist and would like to reapply for 2025, you must fill out a new application.

Wednesday, 9/30/25—10 Finalists announced
Tuesday, 10/14/25— Top 3 Finalists are informed
Thursday, 11/13/25—Pitch/event & winner selected at the
Kimbell Art MuseumThere will be 3 finalists that will give an 5-minute pitch with 3 minutes of Q&A each. An expert panel of 3 or more qualified judges will pick one first-place winner ($30K) and one second-place winner ($3K), and one third-place winner ($2K).
