Description
We are looking to invest a total of $14M of mission-aligned patient capital to build a portfolio of for-profit social enterprise start-ups with sustainable and scalable business models. Investments will range from $100K to $1M per company, with potential follow-on investment on a case-by-case basis.
Eligibility
Preferably a 2 founder team, with at least one founder working on the business full time, a balance of domain expertise, as well as the operating skills to execute. Must have a social impact model or demonstrate impact-first mission. Valuation $10M or under is preferred.
Process
Completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Viable candidates will be invited to a screening with the RevFund I Investment Committee. If approved by the Committee, companies will then enter due diligence with the Fund for potential investment.
What an Applicant can Obtain
In addition to funding, RevFund I approved ventures will be helped in refining their impact strategies, strengthening their value proposition, protecting their mission, growing and scaling and the skills for quantifying and valuing their impact.
