Description

MVMT Ventures’ Healthcare & Accessibility Accelerator by FoundersBoost is run through a partnership between FoundersBoost and MVMT Ventures.

The program welcomes startups developing technologies that address healthcare and/or accessibility (disability). Startups will receive between $25K–$50K in non-dilutive funding. All startups will receive at least $25K in grant funding, and many will be invited to receive an additional $25K to cover the costs of joining us at CES. Lastly, it’s MVMT Ventures’ post-program intention to invest $250K into four of the cohort companies to continue an ongoing relationship.

The program will culminate in two showcases: a demo day in San Francisco and a showcase at CES — including a booth and a chance to pitch on stage. All travel expenses are covered for both; however, the CES opportunity will be limited to only five startups.

The Healthcare & Accessibility Accelerator is made even more impactful through our partnership with MLK Community Healthcare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare innovation and health equity. This partnership will provide founders with access to healthcare expertise, data, strategic partners, and real-world environments where innovative solutions can be validated and refined. MVMT Ventures is an initiative focused on using innovation to tackle disability and the greater social determinants of health. MVMT’s vision is to support the most promising companies from the earliest stages through later rounds of growth, ensuring founders have the resources they need to succeed.

Each cohort takes place once weekly over a 6 week period one evening a week, starting the week of Oct 5th (Global Kickoff Event on Oct 1), where the best speakers and mentors meet to work with promising pre-seed/seed stage startups. The program naturally integrates into a founders schedule on a part time weekly basis to create an iterative cycle of accountability and growth that maximizes and compounds the learnings and insights gained each week.
