Description
Stadia Ventures is a sports and esports-focused venture capital firm and accelerator headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, with additional activities in Frisco, Texas and other hubs. Since 2015, it has deployed capital into dozens of startups and runs its Stadia Accelerator, a cohort-based program that invests up to $100,000 in early-stage sports and esports ventures, providing intensive mentorship, industry network access, and strategic support to help founders scale and connect to follow-on funding, partners, and customers.
Eligibility
• Sports and esports technology startups with existing product or traction aligned with the firm’s focus.
• Companies ready for accelerator participation and willing to engage with industry executives and scaling frameworks.
• Typically post-MVP and demonstrating promise for early-stage scaling; not strictly for idea-only ventures.
Process
Application & Screening: Startups apply to the Stadia Accelerator during open calls held typically twice per year.
Selection: Small cohorts (often ~4–6 companies) are selected based on traction and fit with the sports/esports thesis.
Investment & Programming: Participating companies receive up to $100K in equity investment and join a 14-week accelerator that includes business development workshops, mentor sessions, and strategic introductions.
Mentorship & Network Access: Founders work with a network of sports executives, industry leaders, and investors during the program.
Demo/Pitch & Follow-On Support: The accelerator culminates in investor and partner exposure, with guidance toward next funding rounds
