• Ventures at various stages — from idea to early commercialization — seeking validation, sales systems, and access to capital pathways.
• Businesses eligible for state MEDC and SmartZone programs for funding and service support.
• LOCAL Fellows cohorts select a limited number of companies (e.g., 12 fellows) for intensive support and milestone incentives.

Process

Program Selection & Intake: Entrepreneurs engage with Lean Rocket Lab to determine which program best fits their stage (incubator support, accelerator cohort, or LOCAL Fellows).

Grant & Funding Connection: Lean Rocket Lab sponsors clients for state-supported funding opportunities (such as Business Accelerator Fund services or Michigan Pre-Seed programs) and connects founders with local lenders and grant sources

Pitch Competitions & Awards: Participants can join pitch competitions like the Michigan Tribe Pitch Competition, with cash prizes awarded to top performers
