Description

RevTech Labs Capital & RevTech Labs Accelerator form a founder-centric fintech and insurtech venture ecosystem headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. The RevTech Labs Accelerator is a 12-week hybrid program that works with post-MVP, early stage fintech and insurtech startups, providing tailored roadmaps, mentorship, access to corporate partners, and capital. Its affiliated venture fund, RevTech Labs Capital, invests in accelerator alumni and external fintech/insurtech startups — typically deploying $200K–$400K checks and engaging in equity positions.

Eligibility

Fintech & Insurtech startups with post-MVP traction or early revenue.
• Typically companies that have already raised some capital and are ready for growth acceleration.
• Preference for diverse founding teams (RevTech highlights support for underrepresented founders).
• Startups should be prepared for intensive engagement over the 12-week program. 

Process

  1. Application & Screening: Startups apply to the 12-week accelerator; competitive selection with limited cohort slots. 

  2. Program Engagement: Accepted founders join structured mentoring, corporate introductions, and growth planning. 

  3. Capital Introduction & Support: The program offers dilutive funding and prepares startups for follow-on fundraising. 

  4. VC Funding Pathway: RevTech Labs Capital may invest in participating companies and alumni, providing additional funding and strategic support. 

  5. Showcase & Pitch Events: Cohorts culminate in pitch showcases at events like Venture135 to attract further investors and corporate engagement. 

What an Applicant can Obtain

12-week accelerator support with customized founder roadmaps and mentorship.
Funding during the program (~$20K-$120K) based on needs/goals.
Follow-on venture capital opportunities via RevTech Labs Capital (~$200K-$400K).
Access to corporate partners and industry networks (banks, insurers, tech partners).
Exposure at major fintech/insurtech events and investor showcases.
Mentor and advisor networks (hundreds of SMEs and VC partners).
