Description
Lighthouse Labs Accelerator (associated with what is now known as Lighthouse Network) is a mentor-driven early-stage accelerator historically headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, that supports technology startups through hands-on curriculum, mentorship, investor access, founder development, and capital connections. It has offered an ~11-week cohort experience designed to help founders accelerate growth, refine business strategy, and connect with investors and ecosystems without taking equity.
Eligibility
• Early-stage startups with technology or scalable business models.
• Typically companies with a working product and some market validation.
• Founders who commit to the program duration and participation.
• Historically required presence in Richmond (or region participation) for cohort activities.
• No prior revenue or specific funding floor is strictly mandated publicly.
Process
Application & Selection: Startups apply for an accelerator cohort; a limited number of teams are selected for participation.
Cohort Engagement: Selected founders participate in intensive programming over ~11-13 weeks, including mentoring, workshops, and milestone support.
Funding & Support: Historically, each accepted company received an equity-free $20,000 award and access to community resources.
Investor & Network Access: The program includes connections to curated investor networks and strategic partners to help founders raise external funding.
Demo & Growth: Cohorts often conclude with Demo Days where founders present to investors and ecosystem stakeholders.
