Description
Launch Greensboro is a nonprofit entrepreneurial support initiative run by the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce that helps entrepreneurs and small business owners start, grow, and scale their companies through education, mentorship, and access to capital connections. Its suite of programs includes LaunchCamp (weekend business bootcamp), LaunchLab 101 (foundational business training), and the 14-week LaunchLab Growth accelerator culminating in a Demo Day and pitch opportunities to investors and partners.
Eligibility
• Entrepreneurs and business owners located in or connected to the Greensboro, NC region.
• Idea-stage founders (LaunchCamp, LaunchLab 101) and companies with products or services seeking growth support (LaunchLab Growth).
• Founders willing to engage in program activities, mentoring, and peer collaboration.
Process
Application & Enrollment: Founders express interest via the Launch Greensboro website or program pages; many programs have scheduled cohorts with application forms.
Program Participation: Participants join the appropriate track (e.g., LaunchCamp, LaunchLab 101, LaunchLab Growth) with weekly sessions, mentoring, and practical tasks.
Mentorship & Curriculum: Entrepreneurs receive structured guidance on business planning, marketing, sales, pitch preparation, financial organization, customer definition, and growth strategy.
Demo Day & Capital Access: For accelerator cohorts (LaunchLab Growth), the program concludes with demo or pitch events (e.g., Capital Connects) to showcase companies to investors, partners, and community supporters.
Ongoing Networking: Alumni and participants gain access to a community of mentors, peers, and Greensboro area economic development resources.
