Tech Wildcatters is a mentorship-driven startup accelerator and seed-to-Series A venture capital firm based in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 2009, it combines a structured accelerator program (often around 12 weeks) with early-stage investing to support founders building scalable, tech-enabled companies. Startups in the program receive mentorship, seed funding, access to investor and industry networks, and strategic support aimed at preparing them for sustainable growth and follow-on capital.

Eligibility

Tech-enabled early-stage startups with a working product or MVP and clear growth potential. 
• Founders ready to engage in an intensive accelerator and mentor network. 
• Companies that are seed stage or beyond (with room for follow-on growth). 

Process

Application & Selection: Founders apply to the Tech Wildcatters accelerator; acceptance is competitive and often limited to a small cohort. 

Investment & Onboarding: Selected companies receive seed funding (up to ~$130K) and commit to the accelerator curriculum and mentor engagements. 

Program Engagement: Teams undertake a structured 12-week accelerator with mentor sessions, workshops, and strategic coaching. 

Demo & Investor Exposure: The program includes opportunities to connect with angel investors, VCs, and corporate development partners for follow-on funding. 

Post-Accelerator Support: The relationship often continues beyond the core program through ongoing guidance and introductions via the VC network.
