Description

Impact Ventures is a Dallas, Texas-based nonprofit accelerator and entrepreneurial support organization committed to empowering underestimated founders and communities of color, particularly women entrepreneurs and small business owners. Its flagship 12-week Next Wave Accelerator helps tech and CPG/retail startups refine strategy, strengthen investor readiness, scale operations, and build community connections. Impact Ventures also offers capital readiness and training programs to help early and growth-stage businesses prepare for funding and sustainable success. 

Eligibility

Tech Track: MVP with active users, pilots, or a live product.
CPG/Retail Track: Typically $100K+ annual revenue with defined product categories like food/beverage, wellness, cosmetics, pet/baby products, etc.
Founders nationwide: Program participation is open broadly across the U.S. (not location-restricted).
Early to growth-stage businesses ready to scale and prepare for capital access. 

Process

Application & Selection: Founders apply to the relevant program (e.g., Next Wave Accelerator). Specific eligibility criteria differ by track. 

Orientation: The program begins with an in-person orientation (for accelerator cohorts). 

Mentorship & Training: Participants engage in weekly virtual workshops, advisor mentor sessions, peer learning, expert access, and strategic planning. 

Demo Day / Capital Readiness: Accelerator companies prepare pitches for an investor Demo Day and receive support to strengthen fundraising strategies. 

Ongoing Growth Support: Alumni gain access to continuous community, advisor networks, and resources for scaling.

What an Applicant can Obtain
