Description
Innosphere Ventures is a nonprofit technology incubator and accelerator based in Fort Collins, Colorado that helps founders of science and technology startups commercialize innovation and build investor-ready businesses. Its programs offer commercialization support, strategic mentoring, client success management, access to lab and office facilities, expert networks, and introductions to investors and partners. Innosphere also sponsors specialized accelerators (e.g., Earth & Space Systems Accelerator) and is affiliated with venture capital funds that invest in early-stage startups.
Eligibility
• Early to early-growth science and technology ventures across sectors such as cleantech, bioscience, medtech, energy, advanced materials, software, AI, and hardware.
• Founders capable of engaging in a structured commercialization process and scaling a technology-based business.
• Companies ready to work toward capital access, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Associated venture funds consider pre-seed, seed, and early Series A investment candidates.
Process
Application Submission: Founders apply via Innosphere’s central application portal, which routes them into relevant programs (life sciences incubator, clean tech, or accelerators).
Program Evaluation: Innosphere evaluates companies on technology merit, commercialization potential, team strength, and market opportunity.
Incubation & Mentoring: Accepted companies are onboarded into incubation or accelerator-style cohorts, working with Client Success Managers to refine business strategy and investor readiness.
Investor Access: Innosphere connects companies with advisors, corporate partners, investors, and its venture capital funds for potential funding opportunities.
