Description

LearnLaunch Fund + Accelerator is a Boston-based edtech accelerator and early-stage investor that provides revenue-stage education technology startups with initial funding (e.g., ~$50,000), access to up to ~$200,000 in milestone-based capital, and deep mentorship from industry experts to help refine product-market fit and scale strategically across K-12, higher education, workforce development, and lifelong learning markets. 

Eligibility

Edtech startups with a working product and demonstrated early traction (revenue recommended). 
Companies addressing K-12, higher education, workforce upskilling, and lifelong education challenges. 
At least one team member available during program participation (e.g., for Boston presence requirements). 
International companies must register a U.S. entity to receive funding. 

Process

Application Submission: Founders apply to the Breakthrough to Scale accelerator during open application windows. 

Selection & Evaluation: Teams are selected based on market traction, product readiness, and strategic fit. 

Program Participation: Startups participate with mentorship, venture partner support, and curriculum tailored to scaling in edtech. 

Milestone Reviews & Funding: Initial and subsequent milestone-based investments are released as companies meet defined goals. 

Demo Days & Investor Exposure: Founders get exposure to investors and ecosystem partners to support follow-on funding.

What an Applicant can Obtain

Initial $50,000 investment upon acceptance + up to $150,000 in follow-on capital based on milestones.
Milestone-based funding model with ongoing evaluation.
Access to ~175+ mentors, advisors, and venture partners across edtech domains.
One-on-one venture partner support and individualized strategic guidance.
Investor introductions and ecosystem visibility to support subsequent fundraising and partnerships.
