Techstars Economic Mobility powered by Samvid Ventures is a 13-week early-stage accelerator based in New York City that supports founders building innovative, scalable technology solutions to improve economic mobility — especially for low- and moderate-income Americans. The program provides $220,000 in seed capital for 6% equity, mentorship from world-class operators and investors, curated business development and social enterprise strategy resources, and access to the Techstars global network to accelerate growth and investor readiness.

• Early-stage startups with technology solutions addressing economic mobility challenges (e.g., financial inclusion, education, workforce, housing, benefits access).
• Teams with product traction or early validation and potential to scale.
• Founders committed to the 13-week in-person program in NYC and engagement with the network.

Application Submission: Founders apply during open application periods (e.g., spring/summer). 

Selection & Interview: Techstars reviews applications and conducts interviews with promising teams. 

Cohort Acceptance: Selected startups are invited to join the 13-week accelerator. 

Program Engagement: Founders receive mentoring, workshops, and access to investor networks throughout the accelerator. 

Demo Day: Startups present progress to investors and partners at the end of the program.
