Description

Virtual Angels Network is a national, completely virtual angel investor group based in Seattle, Washington, that connects early-stage businesses across North America with a network of accredited investors. Founded in 2021 by Dan Delmar, the network leverages the collective expertise of members who are often alumni of top business schools to source, screen, and vet high-growth startups.
  • Early Stage: The network specifically accepts applications from early-stage, high-growth businesses.
  • Proof of Concept: It typically targets companies that have moved beyond the initial idea phase and are seeking capital to scale.
  • Method: Founders can apply directly through the Virtual Angels Network website.
  • Target: The network accepts applications from businesses throughout North America.
  • Process: After submission, businesses go through a structured process of deal sourcing and screening conducted by the network's members.
  • The network holds virtual pitch events throughout the year. For 2026, events are typically held monthly or quarterly, with a notable event previously occurring in March
    • Ongoing Intake: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis year-round via their website.

The network operates through a team-based virtual model:
