Branded Hospitality Ventures

Investing, advising, creating: leading the way in Food, Beverage, and Hospitality

New York, NY, USA

Description

Branded Hospitality Ventures (BHV) is an investment and advisory firm based in New York City that focuses exclusively on the intersection of hospitality, technology, and food and beverage (F&B)
  • Seed to Series B: BHV focuses on early-to-growth stage startups.
  • Traction Required: They prioritize companies that have a functional product (SaaS or physical tech) and are already being utilized by early adopters or pilot partners in the hospitality space.

BHV does not run a standard "cohort-based" accelerator with batch deadlines. Instead, it operates as an investment platform
  • Direct Inquiry: Founders apply by reaching out via the Branded Hospitality pitch portal.
  • Strategic Focus: They look for "Best-in-Class" technology that solves specific pain points for restaurant operators, such as labor management, inventory, marketing automation, and robotics.
  • Rolling Basis: They review new deals and technologies year-round.
  • Industry Events: They are highly active at major industry conferences; expect to see their presence at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in May 2026

Eligibility

  • Sector: Exclusively Hospitality Tech, Food Tech, and F&B. This includes fintech for restaurants, supply chain software, and guest engagement platforms.
  • Geography: Primarily United States, though they have a global network of partners.
  • Leadership: They seek founders with a deep understanding of the unique operational challenges of the hospitality industry.

Process

Process
  1. Vetting: The team reviews the technology for its practical utility within an actual restaurant environment.
  2. The "Sandbox": Standout startups are tested within the firm's "living laboratory"—a network of partner restaurants (including Branded Restaurants' own locations)—to provide real-world data and feedback.
  3. Advisory & Investment: If the pilot is successful, BHV may provide direct capital or act as a strategic advisor to help the company scale within the industry.

What an Applicant can Obtain

  • Capital: Access to institutional funding from their dedicated funds.
  • Industry Validation: The ability to "beta test" products in real high-volume restaurants.
  • Commercial Growth: Direct introductions to large-scale enterprise restaurant groups and suppliers for potential contracts.
