BK-XL (Brooklyn Accelerator-Extra Large) is an industry-agnostic, growth-stage accelerator program based in New York City. The program focuses on providing resources, expertise, and capital to technology companies that are ready to scale their operations significantly.

  • Method: The program is highly selective, often sourcing companies through referrals within the New York tech ecosystem and its partner networks. While a direct online application process may exist during open cycles, founders often connect via LinkedIn or their network.
  • Requirements: Companies must demonstrate significant traction, a scalable technology, and a clear growth trajectory.

Process

  2. Tailored Curriculum: Selected companies receive a bespoke program (often 6 months long) that shifts away from early-stage mentorship to specialized, executive-level workshops on scaling operations, hiring C-suite talent, and advanced fundraising.

  4. Graduation: A culminating event where companies showcase their progress to a curated list of VCs and strategic partners.
