Process

The network follows a structured, member-led investment cycle:
  1. Application: Founders apply through the AoA online portal at least 4 weeks before a monthly member meeting.
  2. Screening: A committee reviews applications to determine a match with AoA criteria.
  3. Member Meeting (Pitch): Selected finalists present their pitch to the full network of 140+ accredited investors.
  4. Due Diligence: Interested members form a team to conduct a deep-dive review of the business, typically completed within 5 weeks of the screening.
  5. Investment Decision: Each individual member makes an independent decision to invest. Decisions for the internal Innovation Fund move faster, often within 6 weeks.
