Alchemist Accelerator

The Alchemist Accelerator is a venture-backed initiative focused on accelerating the development of early-stage ventures that monetize from enterprises.

Description

Alchemist Accelerator is a top-tier global venture-backed program specifically designed for early-stage startups that generate revenue from enterprises (B2B), rather than consumers (B2C). Founded in 2012 and headquartered in San Francisco, it focuses on high-potential technical founders. Startups apply via a standard online form detailing their team, product, and enterprise monetization strategy.

  • Primary Criterion: Teams with distinctive technical co-founders.
  • Requirement: The startup's ultimate revenue must come from other businesses (enterprises).
  • Sector Agnostic: While it has dedicated tracks (e.g., AI, Manufacturing Automation), it accepts B2B startups across all industries.

Eligibility

  • Technical Teams: A heavy focus on the capabilities of the technical co-founders.
  • Monetization: Must monetize from enterprises, not direct consumers.
  • Global Reach: While rooted in Silicon Valley, it accepts startups globally with hubs in Europe and Asia.

Process

The program runs for six months and follows a rigorous structure:

  1. Application: Online submission during open cycles.
  2. Selection: Approximately 25 teams are admitted per class; there are three programs per year.
  3. Acceleration: Six months of mentorship, workshops, and coaching focused on sales and market entry.
  4. Demo Day: A climactic event where founders pitch to over 5,500 venture investors to secure subsequent funding.
